Mia Hutchinson-Shaw (she/her) is a Queer, NYC based actor who has narrated 50+ books for publishers including Audible, Blackstone, Dreamscape, Hachette, and Penguin Random House. Trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a BA Acting with Honors, Mia creates soulful, saucy, and lovable characters with a flare for the fun. Coming to narration with her background in classical and period-drama theater, Mia's sweet spot straddles British and American cultures with vulnerable protagonists searching for their strength and queer kids who love to solve mysteries.
When not working as an actor, Mia is thrifting for her next outrageous, colorful clothing item, hunting handmade jewelers for a new item for her collection of giant earrings, or getting outside to attempt to identify all the plants and birds she can. Favorite genres to narrate are Cozy Mystery, Historical Romance, Middle Grade, Romantic Fantasy, and YA.
